Vision Statements Made Easy

A vision statement is simply a short sentence to state what the goal is for the project and why it is important to you.

Nothing more. Nothing less.

It is not the same thing as a mission statement, which is a statement of what your company is, what it does, how it does it, and why it is important.

Vision statements can be created at various scales.

You can have a vision statement for your company, you can have a vision statement for your staff, you can have a vision statement for a product and a separate vision statement for a project.

Quick steps to create a winning vision statement

  • Gather input and additional information
  • Match the input with your company’s strategy, values, and goals.
  • Don’t tango with too many details (that’s what the project planning phase is for!).
  • Be passionate and aim to inspire all the participants.

With these in hand, either 1) engage a good content writer to massage them for you, or 2) find examples on the internet, or 3) ask ChatGPT (or another AI Assistant).

Still stuck? We can help with that!
